STAMFORD, Conn., Pitney Bowes (NYSE:PBI), a global technology company that provides innovative products and solutions to power commerce, today announced a strategic relationship with ConnectShip | iShip, an industry leader in carrier compliance, to make Pitney Bowes Shipping APIs for USPS® postage available on ConnectShip l iShip’s multi-carrier shipping platform. Through this relationship, ConnectShip l iShip will be able to integrate the APIs into the shipping and logistics solutions it provides to thousands of mid-size and enterprise customers, including leading regional, national and international carriers, and more than 25% of Fortune 500 listed companies.
IntegraCore, a leading provider of fulfillment outsourcing and supply chain management, is the first company to deploy the ConnectShip l iShip Platform powered by Pitney Bowes Shipping APIs. IntegraCore is leveraging the solution to create accurate USPS® shipping labels, benefit from USPS® commercial discounts, track packages and help manage shipments, inventory and expenses as part of a comprehensive multi-carrier solution.
“Working with the right technology providers is critical to the success of our business. We fulfill millions of orders per month in our multiple locations and we need a high performance system to meet our needs. The ConnectShip | iShip solution with Pitney Bowes Shipping APIs took less than a day to configure and is much faster than our previous USPS® labeling solutions,” said Kurt Flygare, President, IntegraCore. “The technical support during and post implementation has been outstanding. Pitney Bowes and ConnectShip l iShip are every bit as committed to solving problems for our customers as we are.”
Pitney Bowes launched Shipping APIs in 2016 and quickly set its solution apart by offering flexible financing options and a modern RESTful web services architecture that makes its solution easy to integrate, test and upgrade. Over the past year, these benefits, as well as a commitment to client-led innovation and an expanding set of product features, have enabled several leading ecommerce platform providers, including ConnectShip l iShip to offer Pitney Bowes Shipping APIs to their customers.
“World-class service providers like ConnectShip l iShip and IntegraCore are helping to unlock the full potential of our solution for their customers. We are excited to work with them and proud of what we’re bringing to market together,” said Lila Snyder, Executive Vice President and President, Pitney Bowes Global Ecommerce and Presort Services.
“We look forward to an ongoing relationship with Pitney Bowes where we will continuously refine and strengthen our mutual offering and bring more consumable value to clients like IntegraCore,” said Tim Hooper, Director of Operations, ConnectShip l iShip.
